New production images from Taikai Waititi’s Thor: Love and Thunder show Chris Hemsworth, Chris Pratt, Natalie Portman, and more as they film for the upcoming movie.

We got our first look at Taikai Waititi’s Thor: Love and Thunder! This is the fourth Thor installment in the MCU. The film will star Chris Hemsworth reprising his role as Thor, and features a lot of familiar faces like Chris Pratt as Peter Quill, Natalie Portman as Jane Foster, and Karen Gillan as Nebula. The film is set after Avengers: Endgame and will pick up after Thor decides to join the Guardians of the Galaxy crew.

The Daily Mail has posted photos from production which are causing a lot of excitement on Twitter. The new images show Hemsworth, Pratt, Gillan, and Gunn in new costumes as they begin to film, and fans were excited at the sneak peak! 

Twitter user @PeterBStarker expresses their excitement over Thor’s new outfit, saying:

We can also see that Thor has lost the weight he gained in Endgame, and he appears to be back in his muscled out form from previous Thor movies. Attentive fans may also notice that Nebula’s costume looks similar to the Kree uniforms in Captain Marvel.

Another new photo shows us something that’s causing a stir: a giant goat on set. This could mean that the magical goats that pull Thor’s chariot, Toothgnasher and Toothgrinder, will show up in the movie.

More images from earlier this week show us Natalie Portman taking horse riding lessons in preparation. In this movie, Foster will take up the mantle of The Mighty Thor, and there are a lot of folks guessing she may be riding a pegasus, just like Valkyrie! 

One thing many fans also noticed was a lack of Zoe Saldana as Gamora. A lot of speculation surrounds this movie, and a popular theory is that it will lead up to Guardians of the Galaxy 3, where the crew is on a quest to find Gamora. That being said, fans were disappointed to say they were unable to catch a glimpse of Saldana on set.

While we can’t answer the question of where Gamora is, we can certainly say that we’re excited to find out more about Thor: Love and Thunder in the coming months!
