While 2021 may be coming to an end, let’s take a look at some of the highly anticipated films being released that will make these last couple of months the best.

After We Fell

After We Fell is the third movie in Anna Todd’s After series. This movie will continue the relationship between lovers Hardin Scott and Tessa Young. The last movie ended with the couple getting back together and Tessa running into her father, who she had not seen in several years. After We Fell originally started as a WattPad series written by Anna Todd and grew so many fans and was so successful that it was eventually made into a film. After We Fell will be released on September 30th, 2021.

Spencer

Another movie that has us hanging on to our seats before the release date is Spencer. The film takes the audience back to 1991 and is based on a true story where Princess Diana makes the decision to leave Prince Charles after learning that he is having an affair.  Kristen Stewart, most commonly known for her role in Twilight as Bella Swan, will be portraying Princess Diana. According to Movieweb.com Scott Mendelson said that Stewart has the potential of winning an Oscar for this film. This film will be released on November 5th, 2021.

The Addams Family 2

For a more kid and family-friendly movie, The Addams Family 2  will be coming to theaters this year. This movie is fully animated and continues the stories and experiences of Morticia, Gomez, Wednesday, and the rest of the Addams Family. The audience will get to see the Addams family go on a family vacation and interact with “normal” people. The movie will be aired just in time for “Spooky Season” with a release date of October 1st, 2021.

Dear Evan Hansen

The successful musical Dear Evan Hansen will be coming to theaters this year! This movie shows the story of a teenage boy, Evan Hanson, as he struggles through anxiety in his senior year of high school. This coming-of-age movie shows Hanson finding his true self-identity and acceptance from other peers and classmates. Ben Platt will reprise his lead role of Evan Hanson. This movie will be available to watch on September 24th, 2021.

Spider-Man: No Way Home

And last but certainly not least Spider-Man: No Way Home, starring Tom Holland and Zendaya, will be coming out at the end of the year. This movie is based on the Marvel Comics character and produced by Columbia Pictures and Marvel Studios. The main character, Spider-Man, was last seen with his identity being exposed to the public.  Peter Parker (Spider-Man) will partner with Doctor Strange to help cover up his identity once again, in doing this he will face several dangerous repercussions.
