Everyone has their pick-me-up, but a classic romantic movie is surely one of the best ways to raise those spirits.

13 Going on 30
I really don’t see anything that you could possibly hate about this movie. It has every emotion possible that all flows so nicely, you don’t even notice you’re crying to Billy Joel’s Vienna and then laughing when her confused parents find her in their closet.
About Time
This movie was truly so beautifully written and filmed, it was a step-up in the rom-com genre. This movie has so much more than romantic relationships, it’s also about friendship and family which are so important.
Pretty Woman
Honestly, there was no way I couldn’t put this movie on the list. It’s just such a classic and is still a go-to for almost everyone!

I swear most rom-coms have some sort of magazine writer or blogger and I’m not sure why… But I also love it so it’s okay. This movie has such an amazing happily ever after, even through all of Andie’s hilarious attempts to get Benajmin to break up with her.
When Harry Met Sally
Can a man and woman ever be just friends? This question is so popular, and I don’t think there is one right or wrong answer… except for the absolute perfect answer in When Harry Met Sally. (And if you start saying, “I’ll have what she’s having,” you know you have fallen in love with this film.)

I feel like Jason Segel never fails to bring the best comedy in whatever film he ends up in. Going to Hawaii after a breakup might be the best decision I’ve ever seen someone make (even if it’s fictional). Not so great though when your ex and her new BF show up! (I mean, yikes!) Nonetheless, it wouldn’t be the hilarious film it is without that twist, and we love it.
Sleepless in Seattle
Another classic that’s way too good to take off the rom-com movie list. (I actually don’t think it will ever be possible to take it off.)

This movie is seriously guaranteed to have you dying of laughter at any given moment. Although the movie focuses heavily on comedy, there is still such a sweet romantic twist that hooks viewers in even more!
Hitch
If this movie didn’t end up on this list, I think I would have failed. Will Smith, amazing. Kevin James, a master of comedy. Which makes THE perfect pair for this movie. It has the most interesting and entertaining take on love with so many charming leads.

Okay but the cast is honestly the first big selling point of this movie. So if you’re not already hooked there, what else do you need? Well, it’s hilarious, sweet, and charming which brings every character in and wrapped together in a perfect little bow.
Easy A
Emma Stone might be a rom-com queen (just kidding, she’s just an extremely multi-talented queen). The plot of this movie is a bit quirky and out-there, but it’s so funny and somehow, the plot works. It’s funny and sarcastic with the best characters.
10 Things I Hate About You
This is another classic, and with the negative title, you wouldn’t think it would have you laughing as much as it does. The cast has the best chemistry and ties the entire plot of the movie together. One of my favorites to watch when I need a good rom-com to cheer me up.
Love Actually

It may still be fall, but Love Actually is the perfect cliche, Christmas rom-com, it’s a little hard not to love. The plot of this movie is irresistible and it will surely get you smiling, while also maybe wanting to put your tree up a little earlier than planned.
