Ido Samuel talks Fill the Void on iTalk Movies

iTalk movies is a long-form interview series featuring leading members of the film community. In this episode, our host Zoe Hewitt interviews Ido Samuel in studio about Fill the Void on the Popcorn Talk Network. Samuel is a prominent Israeli actor best known for his role as Yossi in “Fill The Void”, a film that won 7 Israeli Academy Awards. The film also won Best Foreign Language Film at the Palm Springs International Film Festival, Best Feature Film at the Sao Paulo International Film Festival, and was nominated in numerous other film festivals around the world. Samuel was most recently seen in “Unforgivable Sin”, a short film which premiered at the New York City International Film Festival. “Unforgivable Sin” stars Samuel as serial killer on the run from the law who is offered sanctuary by a kind-hearted but clueless rabbi and his wife. Next for Samuel is the feature film “Introducing Jodea” and the documentary “East of Byzantium: War Dogs and Warrior Saints”. In “Introducing Jodea”, Samuel stars as a famous movie director who changes the fortune of a struggling young actress when he drives into the back of her car. “East of Byzantium: War Dogs and Warrior Saints” depicts the battles between ruling empires and houses of nobility that would decide the fate of the Caucuses, the real Middle Earth, and ultimately the fate of the Western World. @ThePopcornTalk
