Hosts Marisa Serafini (@SerafiniTV) and Demetri Panos (@DMovies1701) discuss the 1976 Academy Award Winning film, Rocky. Rocky Balboa, a small-time boxer, gets a supremely rare chance to fight the heavy-weight champion, Apollo Creed, in a bout in which he strives to go the distance for his self-respect. A slightly dimwitted amateur boxer from Philadelphia’s tough neighborhood gets a surprise shot at fighting for the heavyweight championship, while at the same time he finds love in the arms of a shy, reclusive girl who works in the local pet store.
