I Could Never Be Ed Asner – with Michael Clouse

Ed Asner is a Hollywood acting legend, whose characters have entertained audiences young and old for 50 years! Asner has won eight Emmy Awards, including a record seven for male acting, as well as five Golden Globes. Born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri, as the youngest child, Asner had the flair that would help him stand out. But he needed to venture out to Chicago, New York, and Los Angeles for the opportunity of stardom. Asner became a household name perfecting the role of Lou Grant on the Mary Tyler Moore Show, and the spinoff, Lou Grant. Asner had it all, but his political convictions cost him dearly, as he wasn’t shy on speaking his mind. His work ethic and drive has always carried him through, though, and he landed some of his best roles afterwards. Now, Grant is starring in a political comedy special, God Help Us, playing the signature role of God.
