Ghost Recon: Wildlands War Within The Cartel Review | Video Game Movie Anatomy
Video Game Movie Anatomy hosts break down Video Game inspired movies to answer the age old question: DO GAMES MAKE GOOD MOVIES?!?! In today’s episode, hosts Mark Donica, Stacey Shuttleworth and Patrick Dees discuss Ghost Recon: Wildlands War Within The Cartel!
What does it take to run one of the most powerful drug cartels in the world? In Ghost Recon Wildlands, the Santa Blanca cartel is taking control of Bolivia piece by piece under the guidance of El Sueño and his team of senior operators. These high-ranking members will be your targets in Ghost Recon Wildlands, and you can get to know your enemy in the promotional live-action video War Within the Cartel. Now available on Amazon Prime Video, War Within the Cartel delves into the internal machinations of the Santa Blanca cartel, where an attack on a secure compound has sparked fears of a traitor inside the organization. The dramatic events that follow set the stage for the beginning of the game, when the Ghosts are called in to take the cartel down.
War Within the Cartel features Tip “T.I.” Harris as one of the cartel members, and Harris also worked with Ubisoft and DJ Skee to create the soundtrack. The album artwork and six limited-edition posters were created by illustrator and designer Ken Taylor. War Within the Cartel was directed by Avi Youabian (The Walking Dead, Tainted Love) and executive produced by Roberto Orci (Star Trek, Transformers, The Amazing Spider-Man 2), Orlando Jones (Madiba, American Gods), Noam Dromi (Dolphin Tale) and Jay Williams.
