Dana Gaier Talks Despicable Me 3 | Millennial Hollywood with Dakota T. Jones

On this weeks episode, Dakota welcomes Dana Gaier from Despicable Me 3!
Dana Gaier is best known for her voiceover work, portraying Edith in the highly-successful animated features Despicable Me and Despicable Me 2. She will reprise this role in the third chapter of the franchise alongside Steve Carell, Miranda Cosgrove, and Trey Parker. Dana’s live action work includes a supporting role in the recently-wrapped indie horror feature, The Ice Cream Truck, which will be released in summer of 2017.
In addition to being a talented young thespian, Dana is a gifted singer/songwriter who has performed in various regional musical theater productions. Most notably, Dana has appeared on stage at Studio 54 in New York City and as Nina Rosario in UCLA’s production of In The Heights. She was also a soloist in the nationally-acclaimed, award-winning show choir POWERHOUSE. One of her original songs, “Take Control,” was featured on Bullied, a documentary collaboration between MTV International and Firecracker Films.
Dana has also made appearances on Access Hollywood, NBC’s Today, PopSugar, Awesomeness TV, Greatest Animated Movies, and more. Her voice can be heard as part of the Minion Mayhem attractions at both Universal Studios Orlando and Universal Studios Hollywood. Dana is repped by The Green Room and Abrams Artists Agency.
