James Murray is one of the stars of TruTV’s Impractical Jokers, and member of the comedy troupe, The Tenderloins. He’s known around the world as a joker, but the path to becoming a TV star almost stopped before it took off. Murray and the other guys spent ten years trying to get noticed and pitching their show before TruTV gave them a chance. The thought of quitting went through everyone’s minds. Even the first TruTV executive didn’t believe they had a great show idea at first. The whole time, Murray worked in TV prouduction, while the other guys had day jobs as well. However, fans have shown their love for the group, and now they’re set for more episodes of Impractical Jokers, and even a feature film!
