Jason is a Emmy-nominated TV, stage and film star Jason Ritter is the son of comedic actor and “Three’s Company” star John Ritter. Married to fellow actress Melanie Lynsky (“Togetherness,” “Two and a Half Men” as quirky Rose), Jason Ritter is best known for his roles as Kevin Girardi in the television series Joan of Arcadia, Ethan Haas in The Class, Sean Walker in the NBC series The Event, Dipper Pines in Gravity Falls, Pat Rollins in Raising Dion, and as Mark Cyr in his Emmy-nominated recurring role on the NBC television series Parenthood.

On this edition of iTalk Movies Frank Moran interviews Alla Kovgan and Jennifer Goggans on their new Documentary “Cunningham”.

CUNNINGHAM traces Merce’s artistic evolution over three decades of risk and discovery (1944-1972), from his early years as a struggling dancer in postwar New York to his emergence as one of the world’s most visionary choreographers.

During a lifetime of artistic engagement with such diverse musicians as John Cage, Erik Satie and Radiohead, visual artists Robert Rauschenberg, Andy Warhol, Jasper Johns, Frank Stella, Roy LichtensteinWillem de Kooning, Jackson Pollack, architect Benedetta Tagliabue, Comme des Garcons fashion designer Rei Kawakubo, and over one hundred of the world’s leading dancers, Cunningham created a new dance technique and celebrated movement as manifestation of being human and of being alive.

Kovgan has created a 93-minute art piece through a dynamic combination of his fascinating life experiences with landmark artistic achievements, creating a delicate balance between facts and metaphors, exposition and poetry.
