LLAP.” Leonard Simon Nimoy (/ˈniːmɔɪ/; March 26, 1931 – February 27, 2015) was an American actor, film director, poet, singer-songwriter, and photographer. He was known for his role as Mr. Spock of the Star Trek franchise. Nimoy began his career in his early twenties, teaching acting classes in Hollywood and making minor film and television appearances through the 1950s, as well as playing the title role in Kid Monk Baroni. Foreshadowing his fame as a semi-alien, he played Narab, one of three Martian invaders in the 1952 movie serial Zombies of the Stratosphere. In 1965, he made his first appearance in the rejected Star Trek pilot “The Cage”, and went on to play the character of Spock until 1969, followed by eight feature films and guest slots in the various spin-off series. The character has had a significant cultural impact and garnered Nimoy three Emmy Award nominations; TV Guide named Spock one of the 50 greatest TV characters. After the original Star Trek series, Nimoy starred in Mission: Impossible for two seasons, hosted the documentary series In Search of…, narrated Civilization IV, and made several well-received stage appearances. He also had a recurring role in the science fiction series Fringe. Nimoy’s fame as Spock was such that both of his autobiographies, I Am Not Spock (1975) and I Am Spock (1995), were written from the viewpoint of sharing his existence with the character. Best known as the creator of the worldwide slasher franchise Hatchet and as the creator and star of the US television sitcom Holliston, Adam Green was raised in Holliston, Massachusetts and currently resides in Los Angeles. After finishing high school in 1993 he graduated fromHofstra University in New York in 1997 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Television and Film Production. Green’s first job out of college was producing and directing local commercials for cable in the Boston area. Green made his feature film debut with the comedy, Coffee & Donuts, which was in part, based on his own life. Green founded the feature film and television production company ArieScope Pictures with director of photography Will Barratt in 1998. He was the lead singer for the heavy metal band Haddonfield, based out of Salem, Massachusetts from 1997 – 2000. He also worked as the DJ at the world famous Rainbow Bar & Grill on the Sunset Strip in Hollywood when he first moved to Los Angeles and was still struggling to get his start in the film/television industry.[1][2] To date, Green has made nine theatrical feature films including the critically acclaimed and Sundance darling “Frozen” which was a worldwide success in 2010. He is also a member of the “Splat Pack”, a title coined by UK critic Alan Jones for a revolutionary group of filmmakers who brought back gore and splatter to the horror genre in the 2000s that includes Eli Roth,Alexandre Aja, Neil Marshall, Rob Zombie, Greg McLean, Darren Lynn Bousman, and James Wan.

Keaton plays a faded Hollywood actor famous for his superhero role struggling to mount a Broadway adaptation of aRaymond Carver story. Birdman was the opening film of the 71st Venice International Film Festival, where it premiered on August 27, 2014 in competition for theGolden Lion. It received a limited theatrical release in the United States on October 17, 2014 and a wide release on November 14, distributed by Fox Searchlight Pictures. The film grossed over $50 million worldwide. Birdman received critical acclaim, and was named one of the best films of 2014 by organizations including the AFI and the National Board of Review. It was nominated for seven Golden Globe Awards at the 72nd ceremony, including Best Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy, Best Director, Best Score and won for Best Screenplay. It is based on Chris Kyle‘s autobiography American Sniper: The Autobiography of the Most Lethal Sniper in U.S. Military History. With 255 kills, 160 of which were officially confirmed by the Department of Defense, Kyle is the deadliest marksman in U.S. military history. His widow Taya Renae Kyle was heavily involved with the making of the film. The film stars Bradley Cooper and Sienna Miller with Luke Grimes, Kyle Gallner, Sam Jaeger,Jake McDorman, and Cory Hardrict in supporting roles. The world premiere was on November 11, 2014, at the American Film Institute Festival, followed by a limited theatrical release in the United States on December 25, 2014. It received a wide release on January 16, 2015 and set numerous box office opening records including the records for highest opening for a film released in January and giving Eastwood the biggest opening of his career. At the 87th Academy Awards, American Sniper received six nominations, including Best Picture, Best Adapted Screenplay and Best Actor for Cooper.

After he left Juilliard, he performed in nightclubs where he was discovered for the role of Mork on an episode of Happy Days (1974) and the subsequent spin-off Mork & Mindy (1978). Williams’ wild comic talent involved a great deal of improvisation, following in the footsteps of his idol Jonathan Winters.
