Hulk may be back in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and that could lead to a standalone movie!

The website MCU Cosmic is reporting that Marvel Studios may have regained the rights to the Hulk, which currently are with Universal. The two production companies had previously struck an agreement that allows the character to appear in Marvel movies as long as his name’s not in the title.

Now, this is only a rumor, but if true, this would mean we could get the first Hulk solo movie starring Mark Ruffalo.

We also have no idea whether Disney ponied up a big payday to get the Jolly Green Giant back or if there was a lapse in the rights with Universal, similar to what happened with Daredevil and Ghost Rider.

This rumor asks more questions than it actually answers, but, we’ll be sure to keep you posted as soon as we hear anything else.
