Another week, another industry update during the pandemic!

We’ve been keeping you up to speed on productions that have cautiously begun and finished filming despite Covid-19. There are more and more productions every week starting back up and we love to see it! We know you’re excited to hear what content you have to look forward to, so let’s jump right into it.

Dear Evan Hansen

Currently filming in Georgia, this well-known Broadway musical is on the way to our screens! Adapted for the screen by “The Perks of Being a Wallflower” author Stephen Chbosky, this movie is sure to be amazing. Kaitlyn Denver, who stars as Zoe Murphy, told Variety that she doesn’t go anywhere other than set, not even stores. She also stated that they all wear their masks during rehearsals. We are happy to hear they are properly taking precautions!

If you’re a fan of horror, you might be interested in season two of Shudder’s Creepshow series! They have been filming and plan to release the six-episode season sometime in 2021 on the AMC Networks-owned streaming service. Creepshow is one of Shudder’s most well-known original series with fans comparing its style to that of Twilight Zone.

This film has been creating a ton of buzz with megastar Tom Holland playing the lead, Nathan Drake. Inspired by the famous video game franchise, fans have been waiting for the Uncharted film for a long time now. With multiple delays and changes in production staff, it is a relief to hear Sony has officially wrapped filming. Tom Holland even officially introduced himself as Nate on his Instagram!
