Marvel Studios could soon be breaking new barriers.

During a recent question-and-answer session at the New Film Academy, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige answered a question about more LGBTQ characters in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, specifically transgender characters.

“Yes, absolutely yes,” said Feige, adding, “very soon. In a movie we’re shooting right now.”

This story was first reported by CNN.

This is most likely going to be Eternals, but, could also be Shang-Chi and the Ten Rings, the question is if this will be added to the backstory of an established character, or a new character.
