Doctor Strange In the Multiverse of Madness may have lost a director, but there is no shortage of rumors surrounding the characters that will make an appearance in the upcoming film.
According to sources and the internet, it’s possible that Brother Voodoo will appear alongside Doctor Strange in the second movie. If you’re unfamiliar with the character of Brother Voodoo, he’s pretty much exactly what his name suggests. A native from Haiti, Brother Voodoo, also known as Jericho Drum, has been trained in the practice of voodoo and is also a psychologist.
He possesses mystical powers, and has the ability to summon the spirit of his deceased brother Daniel Drumm, which really comes in handy sometimes. This is definitely a character I’d like to see on the big screen, but alas, this is just a rumor along with the rumor that we may also get to see Clea, Nightmare and maybe even Namor in the next Doctor Strange movie. Sadly we will have to wait over a year to see the finished product, but that doesn’t mean we won’t get casting and character confirmations before then, so fingers crossed!
In other news, the directors of Bad Boys For Life, Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah, have reportedly met with Marvel. Nothing was set in stone, rather the studio wanted to see what they might be interested in working on.
In an interview with Comic Book, the duo said, “There’s nothing concrete. They just met us. They said they liked the movie and they just told us, ‘Yo, what do you wanna do? Let’s find something to work together on.’ So, there’s nothing really planned yet, it was just like a meeting.”
It looks like there may be two more directors joining the family and we will eagerly be awaiting the news as to what we might see from them in the Marvel Universe.
