Sean “X-Pac” Waltman is a professional wrestler and WWE champion who has won a dozen major championships in the sport. He started wrestling in the 9th grade and eventually became one of the most well-known wrestlers in the world as part of both D-Generation X and nWo. He has wrestled with greats like Shawn Michaels, Triple H, and Kevin Nash. He is inducted into the Legends Pro Wrestling Hall of Fame. In addition to wrestling, Waltman currently hosts X-Pac 12360, a weekly podcast featuring wrestling’s brightest stars, on AfterBuzz TV.

Trevor Stines is a Hollywood actor, who starred as Jason Blossom in CW’s Riverdale. He kept fans on the edge of their seats as his character was murdered and people searched for a killer. Before the cult classic show, Stines also had a role in the movie, The Amityville Terror, as well as The Fosters on Freeform. Stines is originally from Olympia, Washington, and his love for acting was sparked in 6th grade while performing in Shakespeare’s, A Midsummer NIght’s Dream. When he decided to pick up and move to Los Angeles, it took two years before he booked his breakout role as Jason Blossom; but now his future in the City of Angels is very bright!

I Could Never Be Jim Harrick – with Michael Clouse

Host Michael Clouse talks with college basketball coach Jim Harrick.

Jim Harrick was a Division 1 NCAA college basketball coach who won a championship with UCLA. He coached for 23 years and won over 450 games. Growing up in rural Charleston, West Virginia, Harrick coached his way up to become one of the most regarded leaders in college basketball. In 1995, he won the NCAA championship with UCLA and was named the Naismith Coach of the Year. In total, he lead 16 teams to the NCAA Division 1 tournament. Following his college basketball career, Harrick became a college basketball analyst on multiple networks.

I Could Never Be Adam Messinger – with Michael Clouse

Adam Messinger is a Grammy award-winning music producer, who has worked with Justin Bieber, Chris Brown, Christina Aguilera, Iggy Azalea, MAGIC!, and other top performers. He has also wrote many chart-topping hits for these artists. Originally from Toronto, Canada, Messinger is a student of the music game as he started playing piano at just five years old, and later learned guitar, bass, and saxophone. He was awarded the prestigious Oscar Peterson Scholarship for Jazz Studies not once, but twice at York University in Toronto. In addition to winning one Grammy and being nominated for two others, Messinger also won the Juno Award for Producer of the Year in 2015.

A recent high school graduate, Kent Boyd has been dancing since he was 8 years old. Boyd appeared in several high school musical productions, including “Oklahoma!” and “Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.” He is the runner-up to So You Think You Can Dance Season 7 Winner Lauren Froderman, and the only contestant of the Top 11 to never be in the bottom . He plans to pursue acting. After the show he’s been involved in Dance Conventions, taking acting classes and going around the country teaching various combos. He has finally pursued acting and performed the part of ‘Rascal’ in the new Disney Channel Original Movie ‘Teen Beach Movie’, where he is a part of the surfers. He has since continued his role as ‘Rascal’ in the sequel to the franchise titled ‘Teen Beach Movie 2’ in 2015. Other SYTYCD alumi including Marko Germar, Malece Miller and Mollee Gray also starred in the Disney Channel franchise.

Professional dancer and choreographer who competed on season 14 of So You Think You Can Dance. He’s toured with prestigious dance conventions such as NUVO, 24 Seven, Jump and The Pulse. He won Teen Male Dancer of the Year at the 2014 Dance Awards. He was first inspired to start dancing by his sister and has been trained in jazz, lyrical, tap, hip hop, ballet and contemporary styles. He was nominated for Outstanding Lead Actor at the Helen Hayes Awards for his role in Billy Elliot the Musical. He was also named Senior Grand Prix winner at the Los Angeles Youth America Grand Prix regionals. He was born and raised in Irvine, California. He has been in a relationship with fellow SYTYCD competitor Taylor Sieve since 2017. He and Vivian Maria Ruiz have both dancers for NUVO and 24 Seven dance companies.

Paul Karmiryan Discusses His Career – To The Pointe with Kristyn Burtt

On today’s episode of “To The Pointe with Kristyn Burtt”, we’re talking to Paul Karmiryan!

 

Paul Karmiryan is a contestant on season 10 of So You Think You Can Dance. His genre is Latin Ballroom. He was eliminated on August 27, 2013.

Paul first started dancing at the age of 9 and started ballroom training at the age of 17. He is currently majoring in Psychology at California State University, Northridge.

In 2011, Paul auditioned for the second season of Parir te Karogh Es, which is the Armenian version of So You Think You Can Dance, and ended up being crowned as the winner.

He returned to So You Think You Can Dance by auditioning for season 10 in Los Angeles, California.

In 2014, Paul was part of the Move Live on Tour cast, a dance production featuring Derek and Julianne Hough, along with some other SYTYCD alumnis, such as Hayley Erbert, Brittany Cherry, Jason Glover, and Ashley Galvan. He worked with Brittany Cherry on the Ed Sheeran “Thinking Out Loud” music video, which was choreographed by Napoleon and Tabitha D’umo.

In 2014/2015 he performed as part of the Dancing With The Stars Live Tour, where he performed across the whole of America. In 2016, he was an All Star mentor to Ruby Castro on SYTYCD: The Next Generation and together they went to the top 6. He is now back on SYTYCD on Season 14 as an All Star.

Now they’re among the professional dancers from more than 25 countries competing as individuals, pairs, or in groups in “World of Dance.”

Both dancers started their careers in their teen years—Keone in San Diego, California, and Mari in Boulder, Colorado.
